As an empowered Mandala, Odiyan is home to many traditional and contemporary Buddhist sacred art forms crafted on-site by resident volunteers. In addition, for over 30 years continuing every year, there is a constant stream of these precious symbols of enlightened knowledge donated to Buddhist centers in Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East.
We are seeking people with crafting and fabrication experience for our unique Buddhist art projects in bronze, clay, concrete, fabric, and printing.
Buddhist Art Projects: Lost-wax bronze casting of large Buddhist statues, large Buddhist symbols formed and fired in red clay, creating and sewing Buddhist art in brocade and other cloth materials, printing and sublimating Buddhist art on canvas and other materials, construction and adornment of Buddhist monuments.
